Post birth recovery
Birth is not only traumatic for you, the mom, but the baby as well. So, it’s a good idea to have your baby examined by a chiropractor as soon as possible after delivery. We can help with digestion, GERD, ear infections, colic, and torticollis. That’s because the birthing process can cause slight misalignment of the vertebrae, called subluxations, and even affect the shape of the head.
This is why we like to see newborns right away. We want to help relieve them of birth stress. We are very gentle with the adjustments. It will look like a soft massage.
Birth can also cause restriction in your infant’s diaphragm and esophagus. This can lead to a lot of spitting up and tummy aches. But when we release these restrictions it helps in your infant’s digestion and makes mealtime a lot more fun.
